DealBulder ProcessManager is an Enterprise Contract Creation application. It is an entirely web based application that provides a workspace in which users can create, manage, search and report on contracts throughout  their lifecycle.

DealBuilder PM is built upon Windows Sharepoint Services and provides out of the box workspaces, business processes and workflows around the creation and management of a contract from initiation, execution and performance management. These out of the box workflows can be customized to match the business processes required for the contracts in your organization.

Architecture
DealBuilder PM is a Microsoft .Net application built upon Windows Sharepoint Services. It is deployed on a Windows Server 2003 platform and utilizes Microsoft SQL Server for database content.

Customization
DealBuilder PM's look-and-feel can be customized using the same techniques to customize any Sharepoint site.

Integration with DealBuilder Server
DealBuilder PM presents the DealBuilder Server questionnaire entirely through the Sharepoint web pages. DealBuilder PM communicates with the DealBuilder Server using Web Services.

DealBuilder PM Custom Integration
By utilizing the Windows Workflow Foundation in Windows Sharepoint Services 3, DealBuilder PM can be easily customized to integrate with your existing CMS or CRM system.

Data
The data related to individual contracts is stored in the Sharepoint database. Using standard sharepoint tools it is possible to search, report and export that data.

Security
DealBuilderPM utilizes the security inherint in Windows Sharepoint Services to control access to the site. Application level roles are created to create different classes of users.

DealBuilder PM Functions
Create, view, edit business or process specific projects, each of which can contain a cluster of metadata and associated documents Version control of the data used to create and update documents, mail-based routing.

Document Output Formats
DealBuilder PM generates documents either generate documents in PDF or Microsoft Word formats.

Web Application Server

Minimum hardware requirements and software options for the database server to support the DealBuilder PM application server in an enterprise deployment

  • Intel Pentium 4 (or equivalent) 2.0GHz
  • 1Gb RAM
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition

Recommended hardware requirements for the Web Application Server in an enterprise deployment:

  • Intel Xeon Dual Core, Dual Processor 3.0GHz or similar
  • 2Gb RAM
  • Windows 2003 Server
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 / 2005 Standard Edition or above

Enterprise Install

In an Enterprise Install, the DealBuilder PM application, DealBuilder Server application and its associated database can be installed on the same physical server. However, it is also common for DealBuilder PM to be installed on a front-end web application server, DealBuilder Server to be installed on a back-end web application server and the database installed on a separate Database Server .
