Manage your DealBuilder Server systems
Manage a collection of DealBuilder Server systems from a single desktop using this management console style application. Servers, masters and other entities are presented in a tree view. Masters can be further organised into folders, to allow large collections of masters to be managed efficiently.
The step-by-step transfer tool supports the import, export and transfer of masters, including the automatic inclusion of referenced sub-masters and the ability to target multiple servers in the same transfer.
Disable or delete master versions, for example when they become obsolete or if a version was published in error.
Create and edit configuration Profiles, which allow the behaviour and appearance of DealBuilder to be controlled per session, so a single server can support radically different “look and feel” in concurrent sessions.
Configure the access control rules for masters and variables based on user roles. For example, this allows users in specified roles to complete questionnaires but not generate documents, or to have access to only a subset of the questionnaire.
Launch a master with an XML answer set and a profile. For example, using an answer set and a profile with settings appropriate for debugging helps when investigating issues reported by users of a master.
